• Rosemary Craig

  • Dr Rosemary Craig is the lead general practitioner at the Southern Cross University Health Clinic on the Lismore campus. In addition to the general practice activities, Rosemary is an Adjunct Professional Fellow of the School of Health and Human Sciences. Her research interest is in the modification of connective tissue repair and regeneration using nanoengineering techniques. This research has been presented to the Australian Society for Biophysics conference.
    She has recently been working within the CSIRO ON program, which aims to enable innovation to impact society; supporting the commercialisation of deep technology and supporting projects with a benefit to the Australian community, industry and the environment. Her Rapid Repair team was accepted onto the highly competitive ON Accelerate program where she is working to enable the use of a novel medical device for skin repair in clinical practice.
    In addition to clinical practice and research, Rosemary rides Spanish Andalusian horses. She has won multiple State and National Riding for the Disabled Championships in the sport of dressage, riding horses she has bred and trained.
