Dr Mark Hohenberg is an academic geriatrician specialising in peri-operative and community geriatric medicine. Clinically, he has a strong interest in furthering integrated care in geriatric medicine, especially in community practice. He has further interests in the intersection with technology and healthcare including novel adaptive technologies to mitigate frailty and improve quality of life. Mark also is the Principal Investigator for Hammondcare’s neurodegenerative Clinical Trial Centre in Sydney, Senior Lecturer (conjoint) at Western Sydney University and a Chief Medical Advisor to the technology company Curiious also based in Sydney. He is the vice-chair of the board of the GroundSwell Project, a charity focusing on improving the culture of talking about death, dying and bereavement in Australia and is a board member of an aged care facility in the South of Sydney.
